Talk:wrong number

I always assumed the wrong number was the actual incorrect number someone dialled (e.g. 1243 instead of 1234), and not the resulting telephone call. Equinox ◑ 10:57, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Equinox: Furthermore, it's predictable, so we can also say I was sent to the wrong address --Backinstadiums (talk) 09:49, 17 August 2019 (UTC)
- I'm going to add my sense. Whether the other one is legitimate I still don't know. Equinox ◑ 14:05, 17 August 2019 (UTC)
- Regarding predictability: yeeees sorta. But "wrong number" tends to imply "wrong telephone number". If I were properly drunk I would tell you something about "wrong address" that I heard in bed, but better not. Equinox ◑ 00:59, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
