The 1933 OED doesn't seem to have this word, as either withe or wythe, and I'm not spotting it (searching for wythe) in the modern OED website either(?), so we seem to be doing them one better, outdoing them, by having it. Only(?) the 2010 book (the relationship of which to the main OED is not entirely clear to me) has it. - -sche (discuss) 19:55, 2 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
