Really? Nothing like it (or even "trophion") in Lewis & Short. SemperBlotto (talk) 10:34, 21 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Meaning of that word is on Wikipedia. Word "trophion" is latinized word of τροφεῖον, as it is written on that page. I found word τροφεῖον here, here and here. There are also 47 results which have word τροφεῖον and 155 results which have word trophion in Google Books. Thank you. — This unsigned comment was added by 37.244.211.127 (talk).
Erm, [1] [2] [3]. Of course I can't read any of that. Renard Migrant (talk) 11:56, 21 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
See Zootrophion. DCDuring TALK 15:22, 21 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yes but to be clear, the citations I linked to are apparently in running Latin text. But without being able to read Latin, I can't say what they mean (if they mean anything). Renard Migrant (talk) 13:07, 22 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
The running Latin text meaning doesn't seem to have much to do with the taxon. I was just trying to provide clues to words that would facilitate discrimination between taxon and other possible citations. DCDuring TALK 14:08, 22 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
