Usage

This template may be used on Wiktionary entry pages to quote from a collection of Walter Scott's works entitled The Poetical Works of Walter Scott, Esq. (1st edition, 1820. 12 volumes). It can be used to create a link to online versions of the work at the HathiTrust Digital Library:

The template takes the following parameters:

• |1= or |volume= – mandatory: the volume number quoted from in uppercase Roman numerals, from |volume=I to |volume=XII.
• |2=, |chapter=, or |poem= – mandatory: the name of the chapter or poem quoted from. If quoting from one of the chapters or poems indicated in the second column of the following table, give the parameter the value indicated in the first column:
