IPA(key): /ˌʔilo ˈʔipa/ [ˌʔi.lo ˈʔi.pa]


This template uses Module:ilo-pron to convert from spelling to pronunciation.

Usage

Parameters

Normally, call this template with no parameters, and it will automatically generate the pronunciation for the page name.

NOTE: The invocation of {{ilo-IPA}} should occur on a line by itself. Do not put a bullet mark (*) before it. The bullet mark is generated by the template.

|1=
Phonetic respelling of word or phrase. Needed for many terms with E that represent the sound /ɯ/ in southern Ilocano (use Ë for that), or glottal stops other than in onset (e.g. lutuen, rang-ay, which should be respelled into "lutu7ën" a Southern Ilocano pronunciation and "rang7ay", 7 being for the glottal stop).
|bullets=
Number of bullet marks to place before the generated pronunciation. Defaults to 1.
|pre=
Text to place before the generated pronunciation.
|post=
Text to place after the generated pronunciation.
