This doesn't allow correct referencing when the PAGENAME is different from the headword to be referenced. See Ποντικόν κάρυον. --Vahag (talk) 21:32, 28 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

This seems to have fixed that. — I.S.M.E.T.A. 21:45, 28 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

capitalization and dots

[edit]

I don't understand why there are two capitals and two dots at the beginning of the example "D.H.lhth/r" since δηλητήρ does not start with a capital (and especially not two). In fact, the two dots are much more cryptic because they are not explained in the template's documentation. Using both lowercase http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/text?doc=Perseus:text:1999.04.0057:entry=d.h.lhth/r and uppercase http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/text?doc=Perseus:text:1999.04.0057:entry=D.H.lhth/r works, but leaving out the cryptic dots doesn't.

Maybe one doesn't have to understand the dots and maybe their use in this entry is what is referred to as "entirely unpredictable" in the documentation, but when i browse for the word i don't get D.H.lhth/r. I get the URL http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/text?doc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.04.0057%3Aalphabetic+letter%3D*d%3Aentry+group%3D24%3Aentry%3DD.H.lhth%2Fr and the result LSJ *d.24.D.H.lhth/r in the little box, but entering *d.24.D.H.lhth/r in the search box produces "Your search for *d.24.D.H.lhth/r returned no results." --Espoo (talk) 00:28, 22 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

In fact, entering the completely regular dhlhth/r in the search box produces a different valid result, from the 1889 version: http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/text?doc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.04.0058%3Aentry%3Ddhlhth%2Fr --Espoo (talk) 00:46, 22 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
