Update

@Ysrael214 Very cool digitalisation. I assume the entries should be linked to the "cognatesets" section, note however the links with that site work a bit differently. For example, from the the headword balik2 we can't directly link to the map, since for that we need the map ID 25066 as a parameter, so for example {{R:map:ACD|balik2|25066}} (or {{R:map:ACD|balik2|id=25066}} or whatever we want to name our parameters). Anyways, this would manual updating on all instances of this template (~500). Only with the headword and no other parameter (as the template for the old site works) we can link to the search section with an extra click needed on the first item of the search to get to the map. Perhaps we can link to the search section if no map ID, and link to the map if the ID is given, so if one wants they can update all of the instances of the template by adding the ID, and in the meantime we just link to the search section. @Catonif That seems to work for me. Or add a "new=1" parameter if you can for compatibility, with new=1 linking to the 2023 website, then remove that when all templates have been changed to the new format. @Catonif It seems like you can add ?sSearch_1=takaw₂ parameter to URL to get *takaw₂ to appear. and ?sSearch_3 parameter for gloss. ex. https://acd.clld.org/cognatesets?sSearch_1=takaw₂, for loans will have this: https://acd.clld.org/contributions/Loan?sSearch_0=harbor 𝄽 ysrael214 (talk) 20:35, 10 June 2024 (UTC)

@Ysrael214 I switched to a new module, though I didn't have time to bugtest it, so let me now of the bugs you find. Ah, and I removed the automatic entryname fetching from PAn entries as it was a bit bodge-y, I hope it's not too big of a deal. Catonif (talk) 17:51, 14 June 2024 (UTC)

@Ysrael214 Alright, altered the citation to look more like the one presented on the homepage. I personally prefer a way in between as I think the official one conveys too much emphasis on the site and technical means rather than the work itself.
