Hi, I'd suggest adding a few more conditions to improve the automatic formation of plurals (i.e. when it hasn't been specified).

  • Currently, there's only one rule for the formation of the plural: add -s.
  • I'd suggest:
    • If the word ends in -a, subtitute it for -es
    • If the word ends in , subtitute it for -ans
    • If the word ends in , subtitute it for -ons
    • If the word ends in -sc, -st, -xt, pl1 adds -s, pl2 adds -os

Thank you!--Fauban (talk) 11:18, 15 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

It's not possible for a template to see what letters a word ends with. So the only thing we can do is what we have now. This will change once Scribunto is installed, though. —CodeCat 14:10, 15 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Plurale tantum[edit]

The parameter type seems to be missing. Or is there another way to have livideses cadavèriques fixed ? - Olybrius (talk) 09:39, 3 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

only plural? That makes sense ;) OK, thanks! - Olybrius (talk) 10:57, 15 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Invariable nouns[edit]

I think the former template had a parameter called inv for nouns whose four forms (m, f, mpl, fpl) were identical, or from those whose singular and plural were the same. Is that feature still there (maybe with another name)? Thank you. P.S. congrats for the otherwise awesome new template!--Fauban (talk) 13:16, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Can you give an example? —CodeCat 13:18, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
2 examples in which singular = plural: dilluns, bufanúvols. The plural is just written out again, whereas Italian has a special category (see città). I just seemed to remember that the old ca-noun template had the inv category too. But, anyway, it's fine.--Fauban (talk) 20:27, 15 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

preu de cost[edit]

Hi. The plural is given as preu de costs, which is wrong. It should only be preus de cost. I reckon that if a plural term has been set, it should override any automatically-detected plurals. --Type56op9 (talk) 14:21, 19 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Fixed, automatic second plural added only if there is no plural in paramaters. --Vriullop (talk) 16:09, 19 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
