[edit]

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

Creation of User:Daniel Carrero (who has been somewhat inactive lately). It is supposed to work by keeping an internal database of cognates, but in practice the database barely has any entries and I don't think this approach can possibly work. If we want something like this, it should work like {{desctree}} by looking up the Descendants of a specified term, rather than require that we keep an additional database of terms (compare {{etymtree}}, which also required its own database and which has since been deprecated). @Benwing2: I support deletion. Would you please orphan it so we can delete it? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 20:18, 31 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Metaknowledge Orphaned and deleted. Benwing2 (talk) 06:59, 2 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Benwing2: Thank you. There are a few more things you nominated on this page which require a bit of work to orphan or close, and which you might consider taking a look at it. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 07:36, 2 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
