Listing more than 200 items

[edit]

Currently the top limit seems to be 200 items (on e.g. -ist#Derived_terms). It would be great if "Next"/"Previous" links could be added to browse the rest of the category, if it is technically feasible. --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 00:05, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Looking at the documentation the only relevant thing I see is "categorytree-member-num", which can output the number of pages in a category. I'm not sure if that can be used a template however. If there's no solution we could just add something like "for more entries, click here" with a link to the category page. DTLHS (talk) 00:25, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
There's actually a Scribunto function called mw.site.stats.pagesInCategory which would allow us to get the number of pages in a category (or even the actual page titles). Maybe we should just rewrite the categorytree parser function in Lua? DTLHS (talk) 00:46, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Formatting page names in columns depending on the number of items would significantly enhance usability as well. --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 00:56, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

The list of derived terms generated by {{prefixsee}}, {{suffixsee}}, {{circumfixsee}} should link to the correct language section, eg. attention#French rather than "attention". Can someone fix this please? KevinUp (talk) 19:11, 4 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Probably not. These templates are very hard to customize since it's a Mediawiki plugin. DTLHS (talk) 02:08, 5 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
