Using Template:head

[edit]

@Metaknowledge, I've converted the template to {{headword}}, but I probably didn't get the logic right regarding the plural. The trouble is, there aren't many transclusions of the template so it's hard to figure out. — Eru·tuon 01:32, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Erutuon: The template has some problems, and is on my (long) list of things to fix in the next year or so. In the mean time, you seem to have broken it (e.g. Omuzungu), so if you can't figure out how to fix it, I'll just revert your edits and deal with it later. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:08, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Metaknowledge: Actually, Omuzungu is no different from before I edited the template. It displayed "needs class" before. It is using the wrong parameters. — Eru·tuon 02:21, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Erutuon: Oh, sorry. Well, this is a real mess, so maybe I ought to do it sooner rather than later. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:26, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Metaknowledge: It might be neater and easier to use a module, because the parser function handling class has to be repeated. — Eru·tuon 20:36, 22 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Erutuon: I know. My plan is to model it on Module:ny-headword. I'll get around to it sometime soon, but if you get inspired and want to do it yourself for some reason, I can put together the testcases pretty quickly. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:48, 23 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
