Sort codes inside {{temp|proto}}

Yes, {{etyl}} has sorting too. If there's a better way to get Irish words with acute accents to sort as if they didn't have the acute accents, that's great, but I'm unaware of anything other than using sort codes.

There isn't currently a solution to this. But trying to fix all of oíche just drove me crazy with how many sort keys I need to add. I've suggested several times before that there should be proper collation orders for categories, but it seems the software developers haven't taken notice yet.

It might... Some of the templates ignore defaultsort though. And how does it work if there are other languages on the page?

Ooh, good point. Different languages sort things differently. And if some templates override defaultsort, then they'd still have to take sort codes.
