I reverted an edit by an IP to the etymology section of this term because your version seemed much more plausible. Now they're back, both as a different IP (with this edit]) and as a registered user (posting a comment to my user page: User talk:Chuck Entz#ἱστορία). I reverted their change and added a source. It may not be a very appropriate source, but it's a source nonetheless. :)
