Introduction

[edit]

Linguistics enthusiast from Jammu and Kashmir

JaKov? Well, take "Ja" from Jammu, and "Ka" from Kashmir. That's JaKa. And then, give it the shape of a Russian surname — JaKov.

Kashmiri, obviously, is a denonym. Why is it here? As I am ethnically a Kashmiri, and from the Kashmir Valley

Languages

[edit]

I speak Urdu, Hindi, English and Kashmiri fluently, with Urdu and Kashmiri as mothertongue.

I have somewhat studied German

I can slightly understand Persian and Punjabi

I can make out the meanings of some Arabic words, owing to their influence in Urdu and Kashmiri

I have also briefly studied Shina, Kundal Shahi, Phalura, Kalami and Kalasha-mun
