User:Sedataltundal/About Old Anatolian Turkish draft

This is my draft for Old Anatolian Turkish policy layout, heavily based on "Wiktionary:About Old French" and "Wiktionary:About Old English".
The template Template:policy-ED does not use the parameter(s):
1=Language considerations (Old Anatolian Turkish)
Please see Module:checkparams for help with this warning.

The aim of this page is to standardize the layout of Old Anatolian Turkish entries and explain the rationale behind that standardization.

Old Anatolian Turkish describes the dialect continuum spoken in Anatolia between roughly 11th and 15th centuries (to be replaced by Ottoman Turkish). Old Anatolian Turkish can be considered as a single language or as a language continuum, as the language varied from place to place.

Criteria for inclusion of terms

[edit]

Terms must be attestable per Wiktionary:Criteria for inclusion between 11th and 15th centuries. From 15th century onward, this is considered Ottoman Turkish.

Because Old Anatolian Turkish spelling is not standardized, there is a degree of flexibility as to what can be accepted as a citation.

Spellings

[edit]

Alternative spellings, if attested should use the {{alternative form of}} template to link to a single attestable spelling. See below.

Alternative forms

[edit]

To avoid duplication, alternative forms should have the minimum amount of information possible to link to the main form.
