ආයුබෝවන්....!

Hello[edit]

ආයුබෝවන් welcome!

I don't know any Sinhalese but I hope you stay and add some Sinhalese contents. Your talk page was probably deleted because it was in Sinhalese. I can see this means "welcome" (āyubōvan). As User:Bogorm said on my talk page, letters with macrons mean long sounds. --Anatoli 09:46, 30 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

You've got it. I'll try to add some Sinhala content. Thank you. බිඟුවා 04:32, 28 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. Sinhala contents is ridiculously small here and anywhere else. There are no good online dictionaries, good tools, etc. Some basic vocabulary with transliteration would be highly appreciated. --Anatoli 04:58, 28 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Adding Sinhalese contents[edit]

Hi,

If you wish to contribute, you can start by adding translations using si language code to existing English entries. We don't have a transliteration standard for Sinhalese here, so you can use an existing one (preferably) or work on your own.

To create an entry:

I have just created a sample Sinhalese entry මම, translation of I (pronoun):

Sinhalese
Proper noun
# I

Russia - රුසියාව:

Sinhalese
Proper noun
# Russia
