See what I did at kindness. Also the -nesse forms are obsolete, not archaic, I think. Equinox 21:50, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's an ancient way of writing that word which directly comes from Middle English, if you think that's the correct way of pointing out that, then thanks :) 2.36.100.58 21:53, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Instead of [[aske]] ''(obsolete)'' it is preferable to write {{alt|en|aske}} {{q|obsolete}}, as this allows the software to understand the meaning of the content, rather than just how to display it on screen. Can be useful for categories, etc. Equinox 11:23, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Now I understand the coding language, I rarely wrote edits for the Wiktionary, I usually used to edit Wikipedia. I can copy and paste the formatting language string you gave me and edit it every single time, I am just adding obsolete spelling, some of them come from the First Folio (1623). Somebody will create a new page for every obsolete spelling. Thanks again! 2.36.100.58 13:45, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
