Thanks for creating this. You wrote: "a person who steals by smash and grab; a pickpocket". These are really two different things: a pickpocket secretly steals from pockets, but smash and grab is a violent act like breaking a window to steal. Can the word mean both things? - yes, at least in Turkish. In Turkish, generally there's two uses for smash and grab. One of those is tr:gasp etmek, which is forcibly stealing; and second one is tr:kapkaç, which is stealing quickly and then running away. I think that the first definition for smash and grab in Wiktionary means "gasp etmek", since it's a forcible act as you mentioned; and the second definition is for "kapkaç", since it's done quickly but with generally noticed by the people although without a violent act. - I removed a bit of your edit as we don't include translations in foreign-language terms: only in English, and, possibly, in Translingual sections. If you want to do include Turkish to non-English translations, you could add the translations to the corresponding entries in tr.wiktionary. Thanks very much.
