The apostrophe is not a typo. It's in the original book. We must cite sources with accuracy. Equinox ◑ 01:45, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
- Your week-long block, not to mention reverting a bunch of unrelated edits, seems a grossly disproportionate response to your objection. Please see Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Typographic_conformity among others. It's a typo in the original, which should be corrected here. Or does this WP policy not apply here? - Manual of style does not apply to written sources. Again, written sources are cited as-is, regardless of the mistakes they have. SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 16:20, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

- Considering you kept doing this over and over again despite being rollbacked, it is not that unreasonable to consider it vandalism. SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 16:20, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- I think link above is mangled here. This is the intended link which refers to formatting of quotes [[1]] Alistair1978 (talk) 16:26, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- That applies to prose, not a literal direct citation of the text. Regardless, the page you linked does not talk anything about fixing perceived grammatical or typographical mistakes in quotations. SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 16:27, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
