Benvenuto! Have a look at vegetale. The template {{it-adj}} is quite clever - with just a root it gives four standard spellings (m & f, sing & pl), with root + 2 endings it gives two standard endings, and with root plus 4 endings you can create the unusual ones. mezzogiorno

[edit]

Hi there. Does mezzogiorno mean south, or just the south of Italy? (p.s. Keep up the good work - Italian has now overtaken French in this Wiki) SemperBlotto 17:17, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Mezzogiorno can also and seldom does mean the people of the South. It is sometimes used in a somewhat derogitory meaning because the people from the south are often looked down upon by the more snooty Northerners.Reply
