@DTLHS: It's likely these won't turn up anything, but just in case, could you please search for uses of any of these three characters in Yiddish: װ ױ ײ and any use of these two characters in Bactrian: Þ þ. Thank you! —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 16:38, 30 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Metaknowledge Done. DTLHS (talk) 17:12, 30 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Metaknowledge Picked up some more Hebrew entries, please review. DTLHS (talk) 16:59, 27 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks; I've deleted them (Enoshd had already found them, though). —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 19:07, 27 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Metaknowledge Updated again. DTLHS (talk) 04:15, 12 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

@DTLHS: Thanks. Yiddish seems to be picking up only false positives of words with ײַ in them; can those be excluded? Also, given that there's no consensus, I suppose for now we should consider ë allowed for Latin. @SemperBlotto, your bot created a bunch of inflected forms with breves in the Latin section. Would you mind deleting those and fixing the lemma pages? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 10:52, 12 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Metaknowledge Updated, only found one deleted entry. DTLHS (talk) 20:59, 7 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
By the way, you could add a standardchars field for these languages, then any unwanted characters would show up as categories in the wanted categories list. DTLHS (talk) 21:04, 7 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I'll attend to the Old English ones you turned up. I'll have to figure out how to add and monitor the standardchars fields. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 21:35, 7 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
