If you must rip a citation out of an obscure old sense, please shift it to the talk page with a comment about why you removed it. We have got legitimate (but obscure) old senses for some words with maybe just one cite backing them up, and if you wipe that, it will fucking die on the vine at RFV. SAVE THE ELDERLY.
