User:Fay Freak, here's a list of pages containing Arabic presentation forms in response to your edit summary. Probably they should just be checked in general and not just in link templates, but maybe I'll also check for them in User:Erutuon/wrong script. — Eru·tuon 02:06, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Erutuon: Except for U+FDF0 and U+FDFD which are characters for whole words (and sometimes one writes for PBUH) and U+FD3E–U+FD3F (ornate parentheses) and U+FBB2–U+FBC1 about the use of which I am so far unsure without research none of the uses are legitimate on Wiktionary and I opine that it is safe to remove them automatically and add a spam-filter or at least warning-filter to deter people from entering them. I can’t argue for inclusion of entries like either, they are duplicates and since they are presentation forms unused. Not everything in Unicode should get an entry, right, and this reminds me of box drawing characters (U+2500 seqq.). @Benwing2 to wit. Fay Freak (talk) 02:36, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Erutuon: I have finished the list, ignoring the mentioned exceptions. Only what requires admin action is left, page titles of those codepoints and links to them in character info boxes. They do not go with our criteria for inclusion since they are not language-related; those “requests for definition” in some of them are silly, the purpose of those signs is to fake correct script in environments that do not have complex text rendering. For example, if one has a chat application or game with homebrewn graphics but without complex script support the server might convert user/player inputs in Arabic to characters from that range to be delivered to other participants. Pinging @Atitarev since he has added quite some of them. Fay Freak (talk) 22:58, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Fay Freak: I've added an abuse filter to catch Arabic presentation forms, minus the ones you listed and U+FEFF. There probably won't be very many edits caught though. — Eru·tuon 07:22, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see any issue in adding presentation forms once but they may require specialised categorisation and usage notes or headers. Feel free to RFD, though. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 07:49, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
