- How to edit a page is a concise list of technical guidelines to the wiki format we use here: how to, for example, make text boldfaced or create hyperlinks. Feel free to practice in the sandbox. If you would like a slower introduction we have a short tutorial.
- Entry layout explained (ELE) is a detailed policy documenting how Wiktionary pages should be formatted. All entries should conform to this standard, the easiest way to do this is to copy exactly an existing page for a similar word.
- Our Criteria for inclusion (CFI) define exactly which words Wiktionary is interested in including. There is also a list of things that Wiktionary is not for a higher level overview.
- The FAQ aims to answer most of your remaining questions, and there are several help pages that you can browse for more information.
- We have discussion rooms in which you can ask any question about Wiktionary or its entries, a glossary of our technical jargon, and some hints for dealing with the more common communication issues.

Hi, you're free to add new languages to pages, but don't delete what is already there without a good reason. Why do you think that odit is not Serbian? Mglovesfun (talk) 16:05, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- Because in Serbo-Croatian infinitives end in -ti. And so do they in the nascent "Montenegrin language". --Ivan Štambuk 16:08, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- Because the word "odit(i)" doesn't exists in Serbian language, and they (Serbs) maybe have a clue but they couldn't understand it (if they don't have Montenegrin origins)

Što se tiće zaglavlja ==Montenegrin== - on je zabranjen dok crnogorština ne dobije ISO kod, i dok se ne stvori dovoljno velik korpus literature koji koristi ta nova slova (jer ih trenutno ne koristi praktički niko, pa ne možemo raditi verifikaciju pojedinih riječi). --Ivan Štambuk 16:15, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
It's true that 32% of Montenegro's population declared itself as Serbs, but they are not ethnic Serbs. They are ethnically identical with Montenegrins (43%) but declare themselves as Serbs. That percentage in census in 1991 was about 9% for Serbs and about 64% for Montenegrins, so sum is about 73% and sum of percentages in census in 2003 is about 75%. It's almost impossible that 9% goes to 32%, and 64% to 43% except happened "ethnic cleansing" what's didn't happen. So we can talk about people who declared itself as Serbs not ethnic Serbs. Što se tiče prepravke vezano za riječ "odit(i)" uradio sam obradu za zadatu, već postavljenu riječ, nijesam ja unio tu riječ. Dakle, ako je ta riječ postavljena onda sam je htio pravilno obraditi, što ne znači da ja mislim da je ona sastavni dio "standardnog književnog crnogorskog" jezika, bar u najmanju ruku što taj standard još zvanično ne postoji. Što se tiče zaglavlja, u redu, nijesam znao, ali ne vidim koje bi se drugo zaglavlje stavilo, jer ==Serbian== nije adekvatno iz prostog razloga što ta, konkretna riječ ne postoji ni u "standardnom književnom srpskom" jeziku, tako da je stavljanje zaglavlja ==Serbian== isto toliko tačno koliko da ste stavili ==Slovenian== ili neko drugo zaglavlje.
