ambulance chaser and Welcome

[edit]

It needs formatting according to Wiktionary standards. See our welcome text. SemperBlotto 21:35, 29 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

Wiktionary format

[edit]

The format of ambulance chaser is still wrong. This is a multilingual dictionary, so EVERY entry needs to start with a ==language== line, in this case ==English==. Please read the welcome links if you are going to contribute here. SemperBlotto 06:57, 30 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

well, I am new at this, and tried to follow the links. Evidently I missed this.Jawesq 21:54, 30 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Better, but still not right. ==English== is good, but it is ===Noun=== not ==Noun== and the like. SemperBlotto 21:58, 30 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Okay I will get it right! Thank you! Jawesq 22:01, 30 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well done! The first article is always the most difficult, the rest will be much easier. The only improvement that I would make is to wikify significant words in the definition - so that people can more easily follow up on anything they are interested in. SemperBlotto 06:55, 31 July 2006 (UTC) Thanks for those additions. The only thing wrong was to pipe one word to another. Both those words or phrases need to be defined, so don't be afraid to generate red links - they are our friend, as they tell us what still needs to be added. Carry on wikiying!
