Hello, all,

I'm a bit intimidated to edit the conjugation chart as I'm not particularly comfortable with any sort of computer code even it if is as simple as basic HTML.

Basically, 'byli' should ONLY be used in masculine animate plural situations whereas this chart shows it being used at times also in masculine inanimate plural situations (which should ONLY be byly). \

Will someone be so kind as to correct the Wiki? If not, I suppose I will spend several hours trying to figure out how to edit the conjugation chart...

I am not really sure what you're talking about, although this isn't an ideal place to get someone's attention. In any case, perhaps @Dan Polansky can help, as a native speaker of Czech. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 06:32, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
As for diff in brát, I have undone that: "brát se" in the sense of "marry" (enter a marriage) is correct, and "brát si" is incorrect.
As for the comment about "byli": byli entry looks fine. The conjugation table in být looks fine as well; the table shows "byly" in the slot for "masculine inanimate". --Dan Polansky (talk) 11:02, 3 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hah, my mistake: I now added the missing animacy to byli, and used {{inflection of}} in place of {{form of}}. --Dan Polansky (talk) 11:20, 3 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
