Regarding "Please enter your definition as a full sentence, starting with a capital letter, ending with a period" — that is an excellent point. What I think we are trying to say there is "Don't write some illiterate babble; format it properly"; however, we are quite happy to define (say) acorn as "The fruit of the oak.": i.e. it doesn't have to be a sentence, grammatically speaking, but it should obey the conventions of capitalisation and punctuation. In theory we should probably reword this, but in practice I expect users know what we mean. Equinox 00:51, 12 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
