Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to one of the discussion rooms or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

Stuff[edit]

  1. Do not remove "unreferenced" tags without adding references.
  2. You userpage here indicates you have an identical username on Wikipedia. That does not seem to be true.
  3. Your defense of H.a.t.O. is misplaced. The e-mail I received did not indicate an irate contributor. Rather, instead, one who is here to disrupt and offend, only.

  1. Removal was based on discussion on the talk page
  2. The only difference between my username here and on wikipedia is case, as there seems to be a difference in handling of case during registration - on both I typed "SamBC" into the registration box, en.wikipedia turned that into Sambc, en.wiktionary didn't. I'll clarify that on my userpage.
  3. I don't know anything about the details of that email, only what's listed on his talk page. I'm no fan of his, but I don't see how questioning a ban is in itself something wrong.
  4. I'd thank you not to be so aggressive/accusatory.
