- Entry layout (EL) is a detailed policy on Wiktionary's page formatting; all entries must conform to it. The easiest way to start off is to copy the contents of an existing same-language entry, and then adapt it to fit the entry you are creating.
- Check out Language considerations to find out more about how to edit for a particular language.
- Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
- If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.
- If you have any questions, bring them to Wiktionary:Information desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Whenever commenting on any discussion page, please sign your posts with four tildes (

Polish Entries
[edit]You should read Wiktionary:About_Polish if you want to make Polish entries. We have a way of doing them, and the karnąć się breaks many, many rules. One such rule is how reflexive verbs are saved - we use a label, not the title. Also, I marked it for RFV because I don't think it's word. Under usage notes you listed colloquial, but that would be a label. Have you even checked other Polish entries to see what they look like? Vininn126 (talk) 09:55, 17 June 2022 (UTC)

Silesian
[edit]The biggest thing to be aware of is that we usually treat Silesian as a separate language on Wiktionary. There's a difference between Silesian Polish and Silesian proper. Vininn126 (talk) 10:37, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- I didn't say it's Silesian, someone put it on the site "karnąć". I'm from Pomerania and I know this word from where I live, and I know it's used in some other parts of Poland. 176.118.137.191 10:11, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
