[edit]From initial letter Y of English yellow, using a movement similar to other ASL color signs, e.g. G@Side Twist (“green”), B@Side Twist (“blue”).
Production
[edit]- This one-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
Posture the dominant hand in the “Y” handshape about half an arm’s length in front of the shoulder.- Repeatedly twist the hand clockwise and counterclockwise.
