Romanian

Etymology

Probably from mâine (cf. the variant form mâne), possibly based on a Latin construction ad mane, or on a hypothetical adverbial form *amâne in Romanian. Compare Aromanian amãn, amãnari. Similar semantic development in French ajourner.
