  1. tenant, lessee (someone who rents a house, car etc.)
    Synonyms: alquilador, arrendador, inquilino, (Argentina) locatario
  2. lessor renter

Usage notes[edit]

  • According to the DRAE, the term should refer only to the party who rents the property from another. However, common usage is to also use the term to refer to the owning party who rents a property to someone.
