From betur ‎(better) the comparative of vel ‎(well) and sjá ‎(they see) the present indicative first person plural of sjá ‎(to see) and augu ‎(eyes) and en ‎(than) and auga ‎(an eye), literally meaning "better see eyes than an eye", "many eyes see better than one" or "two eyes see better than one".
