Ordinals following canfed employ wedi'r (“past the, after the”) as a connecting word, which stands in contrast to cardinals after cant, which use a (“and”), e.g. cyntaf wedi'r cant (“hundred-and-first”) but cant ac un (“one hundred and one”).
