Etymology

From Vulgar Latin ceresia, from the neuter plural of Late Latin ceresium, from Latin cerasium, from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 331: Parameter "sc" should be a valid script code; the value "polytonic" is not valid. See WT:LOS., from κερασός (kerasós, bird cherry), ultimately possibly of Anatolian origin.
