From Old Galician-Portuguese cozinna, from Vulgar Latin *cocīna, from Latin coquīna, whence also Catalan cuina, French cuisine, Galician cociña, (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Italian cucina, Spanish cocina, and ultimately (deprecated template usage) [etyl] English kitchen, Dutch keuken and German Küche).
