From Old French cipres (French cyprès), from Ancient Greek κυπάρισσος (kupárissos), probably from an unknown Mediterranean Lua error in Module:parameters at line 239: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "pregrc" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF. language; see Hebrew גֹּפֶר (gōp̄er), the name of the tree whose wood was used to make the ark (Genesis. vi:14).
