      According to our results, the deciduous willow (Fig 2B ) and the dicotylous wormwood litter (Fig 2C) showed greater decreases in the DOC concentration in the litter compared with the coniferous cypress litter (Fig 2A) and the monocotylous sedge litter (Fig 2D), respectively, due to presenting higher litter quality (unpublished data).
