Etymology

From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Medieval Latin doxologia, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek δοξολογία (doxología, a praising), from δοξολόγος (doxológos, giving or uttering praise), from δόξα (dóxa, glory, honor, repute), from δοκεῖν (dokeîn, to think, expect).
