duke up (third-person singular simple present dukes up, present participle duking up, simple past and past participle duked up)

  1. (slang, transitive or intransitive) To dress up; to embellish or improve (something).
    I need to duke you up for the party tonight.
    The car has been duked up with luxury accessories.
  2. (slang, intransitive) To square up; to get one's fists ready for a fistfight.
    When he said that, I duked up.
