Learned borrowing from Ancient Greek ἐκκύκλημα (ekkúklēma).

eccyclema (plural eccyclemas or eccyclemata)

  1. A wheeled device, used in ancient Greek plays, that could be rolled out to allow a tableau to be viewed.
