empiriomonism (uncountable)

  1. (historical) Alexander Bogdanov's philosophy of cognition and being. Based on the neutral monist philosophy of Ernst Mach and Richard Avenarius (empiriocriticism), empiriomonism was an attempt to provide a modern, scientific proof of the principles of Marxism, in general, and of historical materialism in particular.
