  1. Any of at least two subfields of logic concerned with epistemic principles; thus:
    1. Epistemic modal logic, a subfield of modal logic that is concerned with reasoning about knowledge.
    2. Dynamic epistemic logic, a logical framework dealing with knowledge and information change.
