Etymology[edit]
Coined by Abraham Aaron Roback from ethno- + Ancient Greek φαύλισμα (phaúlisma), which is ultimately from φαῦλος (phaûlos, “bad, unjust”).

ethnophaulism (plural ethnophaulisms)
- An ethnic or racial slur, typically caricaturing some identifiable (often physical) feature of the group being derided.
