Etymology[edit]
Hinde (1904) records mukiha as an equivalent of English vein in “Jogowini dialect” of Kikuyu, listing also Kamba mukibba and Swahili mishipa as its equivalents.[1]
Pronunciation[edit]
- As for Tonal Class, Benson (1964) classifies this term into Class 9 with a disyllabic stem, together with gĩcũhĩ, njũi, and so on.
