  1. A height (for skirts etc.) around the middle of the knee.
    • 1993, Rita Lang Kleinfelder, When we were young: a baby boomer yearbook, page 297:
      Rather than introduce new silhouettes, couturiers spotlight the complete costume with accessorized hats, shoes, even hair and makeup. Skirts rise to midknee, but drop again by the end of the year.
    • 2007, Jill Fields, An Intimate Affair: Women, Lingerie, and Sexuality, page 18:
      White-stockinged legs visible from midknee down slowly materialize and fill the shoes. The legs launch into a frenetic dance, their kicking feet turning to face the mirror.
