Dutch[edit]
Etymology[edit]
Probably from Naatje, a nickname of het Monument ter herinnering aan den Hollandse Volkswil, possibly influenced by naadje (“vulva, slit”), though Naatje was already in use as a (nick)name for women at the time. The statue was of poor quality.
