Borrowed from Japanese お土産.

Noun

omiyage (plural omiyage)

  1. (Japan) A souvenir, often candy or other edible item purchased for coworkers.

      It is a favorite omiyage, or travel gift, brought back to the folks who stayed behind. It should be sold in boxes with "My Friends Went to Nara and All I Got Was This Delicious Ha Sushi" printed on the top.
