  1. chatted, chattered; indefinite past passive participle of pļāpāt 
    vai tas ir normāli, ja katru dienu piecas, sešas stundas tiek pļāpāts pa telefonu? — is it normal if every day five, six hours it is chatted on the phone (= if people chat on the phone five, six hours every day)?
    par ēdamo ir pļāpāts, nu tagad kārta dzeramajam — what is to be eaten has already been chatted about, now it is time to turn to what is to be drunk!
