El predomini succesiu de les respectives invasions de que foren objecte aquelles nacionalitats, aná influint en la plasmació dels respectius idiomes, segons el grau de vigoria, resistencia i cultura de cada hú.

     In the view, then, of the historical and scientific reality, the diversity of languages in the official territory of present-day Spain, like the diversity of ancient kingdoms or ethnic nuclei, is undeniable. The successive predominance of the respective invasions which made these nationalities their object went on influencing the formation of the respective languages, according to the degree of vigour, resistance, and culture of each one.
